Founded in 2014, Enactus Motilal Nehru College (MLNC), a CSR initiative of KPMG, has emerged as a pioneering force in social entrepreneurship. With over 100 passionate members, the society addresses critical societal challenges through transformative projects emphasizing innovation and sustainability.

Project Parivartan

Enactus MLNC’s flagship initiative, began with the welfare of 23 rescued college dogs and evolved into Project DESI (Duty to Empathize, Sterilize, and Immunize). This project combats canine rabies while enhancing community dog welfare. It has provided daily meals to over 600 dogs, rescued more than 120, and facilitated over 200 adoptions, creating a nationwide model for animal welfare initiatives.

Project Prabhakshay

Prabhakshay addresses the critical demand for renewable energy by transforming discarded plastic paint buckets into solar lamps. This initiative not only significantly reduces plastic waste but has also secured a patent for its innovative and sustainable design, establishing a new standard for eco-friendly energy solutions.

Project SNEH

SNEH is committed to improving hygiene and sustainability in infant and female sanitation, seamlessly connecting its mission to its remarkable achievements. The project’s achievements include selling over 1,400 cloth diapers and 57,000 biodegradable sanitary napkins, empowering over 60 women entrepreneurs. Collaborations with organizations such as Streebal NGO and Blind Relief Organisation have facilitated further skill development and created employment opportunities, providing Rs 30,000 in compensation to women manufacturers.

Project Biothene

Biothene addresses the alarming issue of plastic waste by producing biodegradable polybags. To date, this initiative has diverted 28 lakh kilograms of landfill waste, significantly contributing to a cleaner environment and advocating sustainable consumption practices.
